Eight Hungarians have been included on a list of 100 leaders of innovation in the region, Google, which helped launch the New Europe 100 list, said on Thursday.
Hungarians on the list include Marton Anka, the founder of LogMeIn; Peter Arvai and Peter Halacsy, the co-founders of presentation software company Prezi; Design Terminal chief Gergely Boszormenyi Nagy; Gyula Feher, a founder of Ustream; K-Monitor CEO Sandor Lederer; Budapest Bridge chief Veronika Pistyur; and medical researcher Bertalan Mesko.
The list, compiled by Res Publica with the cooperation of Google, the Visegrad Fund and the Financial Times, is part of campaign that aims to promote innovation in Central and Eastern Europe.
